Comfort Zone
I don't leave the immediate area of our apartment for many things – we've talked about this before. I don't like having to get on the subway on my days off, especially in the summer. And I don't quite know what's gotten into me this year (maybe it's the deep need to get the right background for my pictures, who knows) but I've found myself wandering from our comfort zone on the weekends.
If you asked me why i don't like being in SoHo, I have lots of reasons.
Some personal, some because of anxiety, and sometimes it just depends on the day.
BUT some of the best pictures we've shot have been downtown. Is it the stores? The cobblestone? Or maybe it's just the more general acceptance of a girl walking back and forth along the same ten feet of sidewalk while her fiancé stands at a distance.
And don't even get me started on brunch or drinks. (Or the close proximity to Chinatown – because you know I'll never say no to Pho and Boba.)
