Travel: Dining in London, Paris, Vegas
Every time I come home, I try to spend as much time with my family as I can. And this time is no exception. My mom was able to get us reservations for last night at the new Gordon Ramsay Steakhouse in the Paris Hotel.
Now, those of you that know me, know that I LOVE my steak! And I also love a fabulously decorated restaurant. The red "chandelier" is supposed to be his hand movements when he's cooking. Our hostess explained how it was all done.. but I'll be quite honest, don't remember! It is pretty awesome though. The water glasses also have the same line art running on the outside.
This is definitely a new experience for me. They bring out this trolley and explain the different kinds of meats. They offer to types: Prime Beef and American Kobe.
And here's my favorite part of restaurants - free bread! Jokes aside, this might have been some of the best bread I have ever eaten!
This is my 8 ounce American Kobe Rib Cap. This cut is apparently special to their restaurant and it really as melt-in-your-mouth amazing! Did I eat all of it? You bet.
These three side dishes were AMAZING! Especially the fire roasted corn with chile and lime. I'm usually not big on asparagus but the way this was prepared, I couldn't pass it up.
Last but not least, had to trouble our server to take a photo of the three of us. (Excuse the red being reflected on my dad's face from the chandelier.)
It was a wonderful dining experience with gorgeous decor. It's definitely somewhere I would recommend and return to whenever I have the chance.
And for those of you that didn't get the blog title.. Gordon Ramsay is English, the restaurant is at the Paris hotel.. which is located in Las Vegas :)
