Ma Cherie

French style can be defined as effortless, chic, undone... And it's really why I love it so much. Don't get me wrong, I love getting dressed up as much as the next girl. But I also love having pieces that are easy and can just be thrown on without much effort. You might say I have a thing for all things French...

Most of my favorite luxury brands are French and the pieces I own are so timeless – I can't imagine not wearing my Hermes Clic-Clacs or my Chanel Pochette years from now. They'll never go out of style and I really feel like they're an investment (at least that's what I like to tell myself :P)

So even though I've broken rules of "things French women would never do" like dye my hair, I still love looking at their looks for inspiration and keeping the "effortless chic" mentality in the back of my mind when I get dressed.
