Upper West Side Rebel
Spring was here – briefly. I agreed to put my jackets back on begrudgingly yesterday and today since the weather took a turn for the worst on Sunday. (Ugh!) It has to be a Northeastern-er thing where we constantly question why we live in this part of the country.
Then we take a walk around the Upper West Side of Manhattan and I fantasize about living in one of those brownstones and how glamorous that would be... Aaaaaand then, I remember living in Beacon Hill in MA and the poor plumbing and how much money it would cost to re-do the whole place... You have to wonder, "Does this girl ever see the bright side to things?"
To answer that burning question: "NO!"
Kidding.
However, my wardrobe probably conveys the opposite. Again, must be a NYC thing but I love wearing black – in the winter, in the fall and yes, in the spring and summer too. It makes me feel like a rebel – you know, a cross between biker chic and Wednesday Adams. If I only I still had dark hair...
