Fave Disney Parks Makeup
I LOVE taking pictures at Disney Parks – whether this is Disneyland or Walt Disney World. There's something magical about the candids and the posed. And in all these pictures, who doesn't want to look their best?
The one problem with this though, at least with my last couple trips, is the constant fight of "I love the outfit/makeup/hair" and "It's humid enough to make even my pin straight hair frizz."
I have a naturally combination complexion (oily t-zone, relatively normal skin elsewhere) so it's hard to control, especially when it's extraordinarily humid and hot. So today, I've rounded up my favorite beauty products for the Disney Parks!

I don't have the best skin (blame idle hands and teenage acne) so a foundation is super important to me! But the problem with this is, well, I guess the same problem for everything else in Disney – humidity. When your foundation doesn't hold up, why bother with even putting it on right? And on that same note, why bother with concealer, highlighter, bronzer or anything else that's supposed to go on your face? But no worries, here are my tried and true products! These products have lasted ALL day through sweat, water rides, and all those PhotoPass pictures.

Even before I was crazy about Disneybounding and making sure I had all my outfits planned out months in advance, I loved MAC's lipsticks for the parks. Whether it was the perfect red for Minnie Mouse or a more subtle color, they're easy to carry around without worrying about constantly reapplying.
I usually favor matte colors and I adore Anastasia's liquid lipsticks (you'll see on my Instagram how often I wear Pure Hollywood) but they're just not my favorite for the Parks. I have a little bit of anxiety with that opening and spilling all over the inside of my bag... And I like how hydrating the MAC lipsticks are (even the matte colors!)
Here are some of my favorite shades:

I had my eyebrows tattooed way back when and as all tattoos do, they've faded. I also over plucked and over plucked until there were only sad little spots of hair. Of course, back then, it didn't seem like a big deal because they were tattooed, so it still looked like there was something there. Unfortunately for me, once the tattoo started to fade... well, I needed to add a bit of something else to my routine. I use both Anastasia's Perfect Brow Pencil and DIPBROW Pomade. I use a darker shade in the former and the actual shade I feel matches my hair best in the latter.

When we hit the Parks, I usually don't wear much eye makeup. I leave it pretty simple with just eyeliner and a pair of lashes.
I don't ever buy expensive lashes because the drugstore brands work just as well as the more expensive ones. Remember to clean up the glue from the lashes to reuse the next day(s) that you're there! I also always bring the lash glue and a ball point pen with me in my bag – in case I need a quick touchup for the glue (sometimes after a water ride, you'll need to just fix the outer corner a bit.)
The eyeliner I have below has lasted through a half-marathon – so that alone should confirm how well it stays up in humidity and sweat! It's the only eyeliner I'll wear to the Disney Parks – on both coasts!
So that's pretty much it! I'm pretty sure I didn't miss anything from my Disney Parks makeup bag essentials! I'd love to hear what you pack in your bags and if there's anything similar to mine or if there's something you love that I don't have on my list.
And on that note... we are just a little over 3 months until our next Walt Disney World trip! We'll be having our planning session with Disney Weddings during that trip so I'm SUPER excited. We are also looking forward to seeing Pandora opening in Animal Kingdom – we'll be there the weekend after it opens! Anyone else have a Disney trip coming up on their calendars?
